This beautiful North Perth home had the optimum north facing orientation for the kitchen and dining - but was lacking a meaningful connection to bring in the warm summer sun and garden views. By elevating and remodelling the existing roof form a greater sense of connection and light has been achieved, punctuated by 3.2m high double glazed steel framed windows and French doors.

Statement materials, such as the pink patagonia quartzite are juxtaposed with timber cabinets to bring a relaxed and inviting feel.
